CSF to UC Santa Cruz
CSF to UC Santa Cruz
Cristian Palomo
Hello, students! If you haven’t already heard, some of your peers visited UC Santa Cruz on Tuesday, January 24th. They all loved it, to say the least.
UC Santa Cruz, situated in a beautiful forested area of Santa Cruz , is one of the ten University of California schools. The school offers undergraduate majors in the Divisions of Art, Humanities, Physical and Biological Sciences, Social Sciences, and the Jack Baskin School of Engineering. Not only is this school nationally recognized for its quality studies and research, but it also creates a sense of community and support for each student.
Our CSF students had the chance to experience some aspects of the campus life and sense of community, and only in a few hours. After guided tours and free time to explore, each student felt as if they had experienced just what attending UC Santa Cruz would feel like. The school even made the rank of top choices for some seniors who had applied just two months prior.
So, if any of you underclassmen are interested in possibly becoming a UCSC Banana Slug, talk to a student who visited the campus, see your counselor, or even do your own research.
