Science Fair

 Science Fair

Yesterday, Clovis East sent a handful of students to California’s regional Science Fair, at the Fresno Fairgrounds. Science Fair is a competition where students design projects to impress a panel of judges. There are several different levels of the competition, and all the winners will have a chance to move on to a more advanced level of the competition.

After the students set up their boards yesterday, they had a chance to view the boards of other students ranging from 6th to 12th grade. That night, the students returned to the fairgrounds to be interviewed by a panel of judges. The Awards will take place on Thursday. First through fourth place will win a ribbon of recognition, and a money award of up to $500! All Clovis East students are in the Senior division, and will have a chance to win Project of the Year, which comes with a $2,000 award!

Clovis East’s students are hoping to place this year, so they can win money, recognition, and represent our school. Good luck to all science fair students!
